Carnival Results 2007
The
following awards have been made to groups participating in the
two processions. In each case the prize money will be donated
to a local charity, school or registered society nominated by
the winner.
- £500
for the best entry in both processions goes to PIRATES OF POULNER
entered by Poulner Infant & Junior schools.
- £300
for the 2nd best entry goes to WALLACE & CROMMITT –
"Curse of the Were rabbit" entered by Mr. A. Moore.
- £200
for the 3rd best entry goes to ALLO ALLO entered by Ringwood
Musical & Dramatic Society.
The
Wellworthy Trophy for the best young people’s entry was
awarded to PIRATES OF POULNER entered by Poulner Infant
& Junior schools.
The
Cox & Hicks Shield for the best humorous entry was awarded
to ALLO ALLO entered by Ringwood Musical & Dramatic
Society.
The
Tom Gamage Trophy for the best entry in the evening procession
was awarded to THE SEA entered by Ringwood Junior School.
The
Spacemakers cup for the band showing the ‘Spirit of Carnival’
was awarded to the Medina Marching Band.
Individual
class winners receive £50, to donate to their chosen local
charity, school or registered society:

2. Darcie Bussell may have gone, but we are carrying on by the
New Forest School of Dance.

3. Pirates of Poulner by Poulner Infant & Junior schools.

1. Toy Story with a twist by the Hart, Adams and Selby families.
2. Judo goes Egyptian by the Ringwood Judo Club.
3. Global Warming by Ringwood School.
