Every year, the Carnival's afternoon procession starts at 2.00pm and the evening torch light procession at 7.15pm.

The processions feature highly decorated floats as well as the splendid Sampson's Horses with the lead carriage. Also in the procession are marching bands, majorette troupes, walking fancy dress entries, steam vehicles, vintage cars and much more - altogether making Ringwood Carnival one of the largest voluntarily organised Carnivals in the country. Along the route street entertainment will include stilt walkers, jugglers & buskers.
