Children's Afternoon Procession
DEPARTS Parkside Estate at 2.00pm
ARRIVES Parkside Estate at 3.00pm

Procession Bands
Marching displays from bands in the High Street prior to procession at 6pm

Torchlight Evening Procession
DEPARTS Parkside Estate at 7.15pm
ARRIVES Parkside Estate at 8.30pm

The Carnival Committee will be selling children's helium balloons to help raise funds for the 2009 charities. Please only purchase your balloon from the authorised Carnival balloon sellers who will be wearing Carnival logoed clothing or badges.

Market Place Events

  • MEMBER'S ENCLOSURE - Open from 1.00pm until the end of the evening procession serving FREE light refreshments. Situated in front of the Parish Church.

  • Eastleigh Spitfires Marching Band
  • Talbot Corps of Drums
  • Dorset Youth Marching Band

Wandering Entertainers

Extensive street entertainment along the procession route and through the town provided. Including stilt walkers, jugglers, buskers & clowns.

Bickerley Events (FREE admission)

  • FUN FAIR - Open all day - closes at 11.45pm
  • GRAND FIREWORK DISPLAY - 9.45pm
    (sponsored by Churchill Retirement Living)
  • TRADE STANDS
  • 'THE VILLAGE GREEN' - Open from 10:30am until 5.30pm, with craft, community & charity stalls, traditional tea tent, face painting plus live music & dancing.

Around The Town

  • LIVE BANDS - marching along the High Street & around Friday's Cross prior to both processions and performing in the Market Place.
